Every first Thursday of each month, the City of Riverside has an Arts walk.
It's been slowly growing over the few years it's been going on.

Personally I've always thought that it was way out of my league and that I'm probably nowhere near to what standards an established art community has.

It was a moment of serendipity that brought me to walk the lovely cramped hallways of part of the walk.

I was drinking a cup of coffee at the local independent shop, when my boss called me to say that there was an "arts thing" just up the street. My sister finished her coffee, and we both went. I was so amazed by all I saw. It was so many different kinds of art; it was so wonderful. Eventually I found the organizer of the location.

I signed up for it.

so the next month I'll be joining them.

I'm so scared and excited!
Another friend of mine said it was so "professional"
I personally hate that word! hehe it makes me think I have to be so organized and so on top of everything and smash any obstacle that leaps before me.

So this Mixed Media Artist is joining a school of fish I don't know.

Oh how Ambition strikes!
As quick and villainous as a vipers' bite!
Stealing through my veins
And making me try with all my heart.
